Fireproof Insulation & Duct Wrap Insulation
Western Industrial Ceramics is a distributor for Unifrax’s FyreWrap line of fireproof insulation products. FyreWrap MAX.0 duct wrap insulation is a two layer ASTM E-2336 system for fire protection of grease ducts. It is specifically designed to provide a flexible enclosure for one and two hour rated commercial kitchen grease ducts. It is also an acceptable as an alternative to a traditional fire-rated shaft protective enclosure.
FyreWrap MAX 2.0 is manufactured utilizing Unifrax’s Insulfrax, a soluble ceramic fiber, as a core material and completely encapsulated in an aluminum foil fiberglass reinforced scrim covering. This scrim provides the fire insulation with additional handling strength as well as protection from moisture absorption and tearing.
